antique pharmacy Mortar & Pestle LARGE cast iron very old & cool RX - $125 (Alpena, MI)

This listing is for a fantastic, LARGE, 1800’s, maybe early 1900’s cast iron mortar and pestle from a pharmacy.
The mortar measures approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches across the top.
The pestle is 11 1/4 inches long.
I believe the mortar holds 4 quarts.
Combined, the two pieces must weigh close to 20 ounds if not more.
At first I thought maybe this was a display piece from an old pharmacy, but then I realized that pharmacies back then used mortars and pestles of this size.
The mortar and pestle are both in excellent antique condition with no breaks or chips, just wear from being over 100 years-old.
