Assistant Caregiver

Peace of Mind Child Development Center is seeking Assistant Child Caregivers for children ages 6 Weeks -12 years old.
The Assistant caregiver is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in the day to day functions of the classroom.
This includes, but is not limited to assisting in; daily schedule, lesson planning, small and large group activities, supervising children during participation in structured activities, cleaning duties and building strong relationships with our families while still maintaining confidentiality.
* Graduate from High School * Must be 18 Years of age or older.
* Must pass the Michigan Child Care background check (Fingerprinting) * Must be able to obtain or become Infant, Child and Adult First Aid/ CPR certified.
* Teachers Assistant must complete 24 hours of training yearly.
R 400.
8131 in the State of Michigan Licensing Rules for Childcare Centers.
* Be professional, outgoing, responsible, and a team player.
\* * Must be a mature adult that can interact appropriately with children and staff members.
* Education and work experience is preferred but not required.
Other Responsibilities * Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities * Keep records of children's progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents * Assist in preparing food and serving meals * Maintain a clean and sterile environment We look forward to receiving your application.
