Associate Childcare Teacher for 0-3 years (Infants/Toddlers)

Good Shepherd Early Childhood Center is looking for Assistant Teachers in our one and two-year-old rooms to join our team.
We are located at 5335 Brockway Rd Saginaw, MI 48638 Assistant Teachers need to be: * Caring, compassionate, and love what they do in a Christian environment! * Able to ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all center standards.
* Able to help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized * Able to help assist the lead teacher * At least 17 years of age and have a High School diploma or equivalent * Able to successfully work with staff and parents * Physically able to lift children (minimum 35 lbs.
) and able to participate in floor activities.
* Background check required through Fingerprinting * Submit negative TB test within 30 days of hire.
* First Aid and CPR certificate * Enjoy working with young children.
Pay: $10.
45/hr (starting pay minimum wage) Hours: Morning (7 - 12:30), Afternoon (12 noon - 6 pm) availability is a must.
Center open 6:30 am-6 pm, M-F (20-30 hrs per week).
We are closed nights, holidays, and weekends.
