Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting your local community and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Custodian at the various building of All Saints.
As a Custodian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our various buildings and facilities.
Responsibilities:
1.
Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform regular cleaning of all areas, including but not limited to, restrooms, offices, and common spaces.
This includes dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
2.
Trash Collection: Ensure that all trash and recyclables are collected, disposed of properly, and bins are regularly emptied.
3.
Restroom Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of restrooms by cleaning fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring they are in good working order.
4.
Floor Care: Conduct floor care tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and occasional floor waxing or polishing.
5.
Maintenance: Report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures, leaks, or equipment malfunctions, to the Operations Manager for prompt resolution.
6.
Supplies Inventory: Monitor and report the need for cleaning supplies, equipment, and restroom supplies to ensure inventory is well-stocked.
7.
Adherence to Safety Regulations: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all occupants and visitors.
Qualifications:
• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation techniques.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to uphold the values and principles of our Catholic Parish.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position, with hours to be determined.
Flexible scheduling may be available based on the needs of the Parish.
