Job Title: Local Driver
Duties:
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including flatbeds, tractor-trailers, end dumps.
- Load and unload cargo or materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving on local routes.
- Perform routine automotive daily inspections and maintenance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
Skills:
- Experience driving commercial vehicles, including flatbeds, tractor-trailers, end dumps.
- Proficient in load and unload procedures for various types of cargo.
- Very basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

This will be a primarily flatbed position, with little to no tarping required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
