Guitar/Ukulele Instructor

UpBeat Music Academy is seeking an experienced guitar instructor with late afternoon and evening availability Monday-Thursday (min two evenings) as well as possible Saturday mornings.
Ideal candidates would have.

- Experience teaching guitar and ukulele with children and adults - A music degree or comparable experience - A love of children and an outgoing personality - Piano proficiency through an elementary level - Comfortable singing out loud with children and parents - Outgoing and possesses Entertainer Qualities - Candidates must pass a background and reference check What will you be teaching? Our guitar program is expanding and we are seeking an instructor prepared to teach group lessons for guitar, ukulele and other fretted instruments.
While students begin music lessons at UpBeat as infants, we transition children to guitar around age 7 if they are interested.
The right teacher would need to be prepared for hands on training teaching classrooms of 4-8 students while achieving group class goals.
The teacher will also have hours available to build a private studio for 1-1 lessons.

Job Type: Contract Pay: $18.
