Are you interested in positively impacting students’ lives? We are seeking an Engineering Adjunct Instructor to teach introductory engineering courses in Careers in Engineering and Engineering Design & Analysis.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Understanding of and ability to work with a diverse student population
Use of email, internet-based resources, and common Office software
Ability to teach in a variety of formats, including incorporating online learning systems
Understanding of ADA requirements and willingness to create accessible materials
Effective interpersonal skills
Understanding Delta Mission/Vision/Values
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field: Manufacturing, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, other Engineering disciplines
3 years minimum work experience in related field
Additional Experiences Considered
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field: other Engineering disciplines
Teaching experience at the community college level
