Fitness Attendant

*Greater Midland – Fitness Attendant * *The Position* Under the direction of the Fitness Director, the Fitness Attendant works to ensure Fitness Center members exercise safely and effectively.
The Fitness Attendant will also be responsible for processing memberships, administering InBody 570 body composition assessments, conducting orientations, operating the hydro-bed, maintaining cleanliness of the fitness center and participating in special events.
*Major Job Responsibilities* * Interact with members.
* Be visible on the floor (especially during peak times and including Youth Weight Room hours), prepared to answer questions, giving members assistance as needed and performing cleaning duties.
* Give orientations, tours of the Wellness Center, provide direction and tours to other areas of the facility, guidance and support to members and team personnel and represent GMCC in a positive manner.
* Inform guests about and provide accurate information regarding facility services, programs, schedules, costs, membership, policies and all other current events happening in Greater Midland.
* Accurately complete any required paperwork including, but not limited to, membership applications, activity registrations and time cards.
* Process memberships, program registrations, and take payments for various items/activities.
* Accurately input applicable information into system and reconcile with bank deposit at the end of day.
