RESPONSIBILITIES: To assist in developing, promoting and supervising all facets of middle school track.
Promote a positive academic environment and encourage all athletes to strive for academic excellence.
Prepare and execute practice, game plans, and strategies deigned to bring success to the program.
Provide moral support and encouragement to students/athletes.
Maintain and control the use of uniforms and equipment.
Assist with design and implement conditioning programs, in and out of season, for student/athletes.
Support the communication protocol, which keeps both parents and student/athletes aware of program status.
Support the Head Coach to establish and execute an awards program to recognize team and individual performance excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED required.
Updated First Aid and CPR training required.
CAP1 Class (through the MHSAA) preferred.
COMPENSATION: Stipend per STEA Contract Pursuant to Public Act 68 of 1993 and Public Act 83 of 1995, selected new employees shall submit to fingerprints and a criminal background check at the employee's expense.
