We anticipate a need for elementary teachers for the 2024-2025 School Year.

Saginaw Township Schools is located in a multi-cultural and vibrant community in mid-Michigan.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Saginaw Township Community Schools has about 4,400 students (K-12).
Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year, the elementary schools changed from K-5 to two lower (K-2) and two upper (3-5) buildings.
There is also a gifted and talented magnet school K-5.

Curricular changes during the last few years include using units of Study for Language Arts, Reveal Math and STEM based science, as well as a major implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
Seeking strong elementary teachers with knowledge and understanding of instruction.
The individual must possess knowledge and understanding of elementary school classroom management and organization, current best practices in the areas of language arts, math, science, and social studies teaching and learning.
Candidates should possess the ability to meet the unique and individual needs of all students.
Knowledge and experience administering and using a variety of performance assessments needed.
Regular in-person attendance required.
Elementary teaching certificate needed.
COMPENSATION :
STEA Agreement currently provides annual salary of $44,037 Bachelor’s Degree (no previous teaching experience); $51,537 Master Degree, (no previous teaching experience).
The parties are currently negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement to be effective for the 2024-2025 and beyond,
