Required Qualifications:
Valid Michigan teaching certificate.
Meet requirements for a background check and fingerprinting.
Alternative applicable qualifications may be considered.
Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:
Hours per day and time of service determined with parent and student (not to exceed four (4) hours per week).
Provide own transportation to and from student’s home or alternate location.
A successful candidate will be able to:
Provide necessary instruction and assistance to student regarding completion of regular classroom assignments in core subject areas.
Develop and use strategies to improve student achievement in all core content areas.
Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction.
Salary: As per negotiated district contract.
