We are currently looking for Mandarin Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons to children in Midland, MI

Student: 1 children
• Age: 11
• Availability: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after 5 or Weekends
• Preferred start date: as soon as possible
• Lesson Frequency: Twice per week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Student’s location; Midland, MI - close to Residence Inn by Marriot Midland
• Current target language level: Fluent
• Native and other spoken languages: Chinese
• Student’s language needs and goals: The student is already fluent in Chinese and speaks it at home.
Mum would like him to keep on practicing and studying the language and maintain it at an academic level.
He has been abroad for most of his childhood and she doesn`t want him to lose it.
Responsibilities:
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of experience
All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
