We are hiring Mandarin Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons to children in Midland, MI.
Job Information:
Classes: 169953
Student: boy, age 11
• Availability: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after 5 pm or weekends
• Preferred start date: as soon as possible
• Lesson Frequency: Twice per week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Location: Midland, MI - close to Residence Inn by Marriot Midland
• Current target language level: Fluent
• Native and other spoken languages: Chinese
• Student’s language needs and goals: The student speaks Chinese fluently at home.
The parents are interested in the child preserving his language skills and practicing and studying the language to maintain it at an academic level.
Responsibilities:
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of experience working with children
All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
