Certified Nurse Aide

Responsibilities: Take and record vital signs Measure and record height and weight, intake and output Care for the guests’ environment Assist with bathing, grooming and toileting Assist with eating and hydration Observe guests’ skin when administering care and reports changes to licensed nurse; provide skin care as needed Meet guests’ mental health and social service needs Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
Must be currently certified as a nursing assistant in the state of Michigan.
Prior work experience in a direct patient care setting or in a long term care facility preferred.
Must be in good physical health to be able to lift and move patients and be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
Must be compassionate and personable.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm.
