Great Lakes Bay Health Centers (GLBHC) is a community health center umbrella made up of 32 locations throughout the Great Lakes Bay region and beyond.
Most locations are set up to serve medically underserved populations, but our doors are open to anyone regardless of insurance or lack of insurance.
The services provided are sensitive to the community's needs, are not based on ability to pay, and are offered without regard to criteria such as race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Our federally qualified community health centers around Michigan offer a wide range of comprehensive, high-quality care to thousands of patients.

Job Summary
The Staff Dentist is directly responsible for the examination of patient health history, diagnosis of dental disease, the recommendation of treatment modalities, rendering of those treatments, and the recording of appropriate documentation in the patient charts.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Manages patient dental care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Records and maintains appropriate documentation on patient clinical records.
Assists in the establishing of appropriate fee schedule, expense budgets, and program plans.
Assists in the supervision of dental support personnel.
Participates in GLBHC’s Quality Assurance activities as needed.
MARGINAL JOB DUTIES
Assists in marketing and public relations of the dental program, including recruitment of providers as needed.
Assists in interviewing of job candidates, trains and evaluates dental support personnel.
Performs other functions relating to the GLBHC Dental Program as may be required.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Dental Officer or President/CEO.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Dental School.
Possess DDS or DMD.
Certified and licensed by the State Board of Dentistry in Michigan.
1-2 years in underserved area preferred.
