Dow has an exciting opportunity within the Corporate Strategy team for a Strategic Planning Senior Director, located in Midland, MI.
The preferred location is Midland, MI but other locations will be considered.

This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.
Candidates from businesses or the finance function with strong analytical background and skillsets should apply.
Key responsibilities include: Engage in and support enterprise priorities coordinated by the Corporate Development team including preparation of milestone reviews.
Lead the annual financial planning process to work collaborative with the business and functional leaders to establish targets for the net calendar year Drive preparation for key milestone events such as the annual strategy week, quarterly earnings call, Board of Director meetings, operations team meetings and other ad-hoc events throughout the year Support the monthly cash flow process and long-term sources/uses of cash development to support Dow’s strategy and goals Lead Dow’s joint venture governance process and conduct ad-hoc analyses to enhance value capture from Dow’s joint venture assets Facilitate the annual enterprise risk management (ERM) process to support risk identification, prioritization and mitigation Facilitate capital planning and implementation, including the capital planning committee, capital project governance and annual capital allocation process Conduct benchmarking to bring outside-in view to help support and shape Dow’s strategy development process Partner with M&A to support portfolio changes Support sustainability metrics and tracking Contribute to Dow’s long-term strategy development and accelerate Dow’s productivity and growth Critical success factors: Strong work ethics and exceptional collaboration skills Analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to drive concise outcomes Strong financial and business acumen Confidentiality and discretion Ability to see the big picture with attention to detail Analytical mindset that is comfortable to work on unstructured problems Presence with executive management - confidence and humility Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills Required Qualifications: A minimum of Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at a U.
S.
