*Job Title: Marketing & Outreach Manager*

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional for the role of Marketing and Outreach Manager.
This position involves spearheading marketing and communication initiatives to elevate our brand, engaging with the public through impactful outreach and event opportunities, and driving volunteer recruitment efforts.
Additionally, supporting the fund development department through fundraising initiatives.
*Marketing & Communications Functions:*
· Develop, design and execute comprehensive marketing and communication resources that enhance the agency's visibility and promote its mission.
These resources include press releases, agency websites, social media posts, graphic design, editorial calendar, advertising, presentations, donor stewardship materials, agency and donor e-newsletters and agency talking points
· Ensure consistent branding across all communication channels and materials that align with BBBSA’s brand elements & standards.
· Develop, implement, and maintain a measurable long-term marketing and PR plan
· Liaise with BBBS national on communications topics, strategies, opportunities
*Outreach Functions:*
· Actively seek out and represent BBBS at community speaking engagements, public events and community gatherings to increase awareness and recruit volunteers
* Coordinate event logistics for agency fundraising events, special events, and community events; including post-event tasks, such as thank you notes, review of billings, and leading de-briefing sessions
* Includes managing all logistics for our online event, Bids for Kids – BBBS's yearly online auction
* Cultivate relationships with local community leaders, schools, and businesses to promote collaboration and support for the organization.
* Lead efforts to recruit mentors by organizing recruitment events, recruitment marketing campaigns, informational sessions, and targeted outreach campaigns.
* Collaborate with the development team to create, implement, and support fundraising campaigns and events.
* Other duties to be assigned by the Vice President - Fund Development & Strategy
*Knowledge / Skills / Job Qualifications*
· Knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communication, and public relation strategies
· Detailed knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
· Proficiency in website management (WordPress), social media marketing, and email marketing software
· Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
· Strong oral communication and public speaking
· Preferred: basic video production
*Preferred Education and Formal Training*
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
*Experience*
· A minimum of three years of marketing and communications background
Start Date: January 2024 (flexible)
*Location*: Big Brothers Big Sisters of the GLBR serves Midland, Bay, Saginaw and Isabella Counties.
Candidate’s home base would be the Midland office, but open to remote work on occasion.
*Salary Range*:$38,000 – $42,000 based on experience
