IT Assistant - Part Time Location of Position: Any Branch majority of the time at Main Office Salary: Negotiable Days: Monday-Saturday Hours: 25-29 Hours Primary Function Serve Staff/Membership by assisting with technology issues and maintaining all operating systems while acting in a professional manner.
Maintain accurate records and procedures, providing assistance in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
Assist Credit Union Management and IT contract company with the overall operation of the department as directed.
Assist in, IT department activity by answering questions on products and services.
Assist with internal controls at the main or branch levels of security.
Skills and Qualifications Basic network troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP, Windows Network), attention to detail, general math skills, verbal / written communication skills, integrity, ability to learn software, thoroughness and clear documentation skills.
Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and the MS Office Suite.
High school diploma or equivalent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Employee must follow all compliance with Fair Credit Reporting Act, BSA / OFAC Policies and Procedures and any other compliance with regulations pertaining to job position Responsible for maintaining the backups for various systems.
Responsible for reviewing and archiving (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) logs on various systems.
Setup and configure workstations.
Assist in department projects.
Assist credit union employees via ticket management system, telephone, in person, and via remote support tools to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, network, servers and peripherals.
Responsible for pulling and compiling reports from various systems.
Writes and runs query-based reports as needed throughout the month.
Performs any other duties relative to Information Systems or as otherwise delegated.
Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of marketing promotions and Credit Union goals.
Comply with and maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations (but not limited to) all dual-control functions; maintaining member traffic flow, and robbery procedures.
Volunteer for Community Events the credit union supports.
For example, Bay County Relay for Life.
Record all volunteer hours (events where you represent COPOCO Community Credit Union), within payroll system under Community Involvement or Business Development.
Attend educational courses, seminars, programs and workshops to increase job knowledge.
Contributes to team effort by performing other tasks that may be assigned by Supervisor or Management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical Abilities: Standing, walking, sitting, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders, squatting, kneeling, bending.
Lift / Carry: 30 pounds or less Push / Pull 30 pounds or less
