Position Summary: Sell industrial lubricant products to new and existing accounts in Mid Michigan (Flint/Ithaca/Clare/Tawas.
Essential Functions:
Uses effective sales techniques to develop, grow, and retain accounts
Conducts effective sales and product presentations to customers
Educates customers on product features and benefits to ensure products are understood and used effectively
Consistently closes sales opportunities
Develops and maintains business to achieve individual sales revenue targets
Increases customer same store sales year over year
Properly qualifies customers
Develops and maintains client and prospective client relationships through personal visits and all other means of contact to promote sales growth and continual customer satisfaction
Follows-up on potential leads, orders, inquiries, and issues
Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and consulting
Committed to addressing and resolving customer complaints in a timely and appropriate manner
Proactively seeks to improve product knowledge by interacting with internal and external subject matter experts
Regularly attends sales/training meetings
Identifies and quickly responds to competitive threats within the territory
Communicates market intelligence/competitor activity promptly to Automotive Sales Manager
Files all required reports on time
Perform other job related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent training and experience in successful sales practices and methods
Minimum 2 years’ business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success
Two years’ experience in a customer-facing sales role (business to business)
Valid driver’s license
Good driving record, able to meet Vesco Oil Corporation’s driving requirements
Well-groomed with professional business attire and appearance
Must be able to transport company product in company vehicle
Must be able to drive throughout the workday
Travel
Ability to travel overnight occasionally.
