General Purpose:
Directs and participates in the construction and maintenance of the grounds; and performs related tasks as required.
Designs landscape plans for facility grounds and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of that plan.
Essential Duties:
Handles day to day maintenance on irrigation system, course watering, repair
Assists in cultural practices: spiking top dressing, aerification, etc.
Brush, tree removal, fertilizer applications, training in chair saw usage safety
Answer to Foreman/Asst.
Supt.
small course project teams, irrigation repair, rough mowing, irrigation watering
Work every other weekend for 4 hours, including holidays, moisture check on greens wknds.
When need assist in course mowing greens, tees, fairways, rough
May be involved in driving tractors to preform various tasks, projects,
Working knowledge of small engine operation and repair, helpful but not required
Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree (AA); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License, Pesticide Application License
Other qualifications:
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job
