2nd Shift Supervisor

*TITLE: 2nd Shift Supervisor* *DEPARTMENT: *Operations *LOCATION: *Bay City *REPORT: Plant Superintendent* *CLASSIFICATION: Salary* *SHIFT: Second* Shift *Pay Rate: TBD* *ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES:* (Includes the following, other duties may be assigned) * Training on the machines both daily and annual requirements * Responsible for achieving KOIs for shift: o Quality o Safety o Efficiency o Utilization * To ensure continuous improvements of shift manufacturing/operations.
* Assists in resolving customer problems in areas of responsibility * Demonstrates leadership through decisive, positive actions and provides guidance and solutions to problems * Ensure that team management practices are implemented, encouraging involvement from all shift employees promoting a safe, motivating work environment.
* Support shift Supervisors * Maintains thorough knowledge of shift processes and equipment * Follow up on accuracy of information from shift plant floor * Provide administrative support with regards to the shift production floor * Follow up on accuracy of information from shift * With Shift Supervisor and appropriate staff personnel, studies shift operations where standards are not being met to determine causes.
· Organizes training for smooth shift operations.
Improvement of methods and elimination of wasteful practices within shift *QUALIFICATIONS* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE* High School graduate and 3-5 years’ experience in production machines and working with Supervisors Communication skills, (written and verbal) Computer skills Problem solving skills Team building skills Reasoning skills Knowledge of most equipment in plant Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
