Manual Machinist

* *Job Summary* Sets up and operates any three or more of the following machines: lathe (engine and turret), milling machine, I.

grinder, or can setup and operate boring mill or CNC machine.
Machines parts from drawings.
*Essential Functions* * Calculates and determines dimensions and other necessary data from drawings.
* Uses precision measuring instruments.
* Reads and interprets drawings and performs necessary layout and or inspection of parts.
* Machines parts to specified tolerances, required surface finishes, RWC quality standards and good machine tool practices.
* Works to work center priority list or as directed by Supervisor or Team Leader.
* Sets up and runs and machines in machine shop qualified to operate.
*Essential Qualifications* * Manual machining experience or journeyman machinist card required.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in trade preferred.
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.
