POSITION SUMMARY
This position is for a full-time Office Technician in our Construction Services Group in our Saginaw office location.
Our Office Technician's work directly with Project Management and our Construction Technicians in the field.
They assist with administering, monitoring, and maintaining project files in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as part of a team of civil engineering and technical professionals construction transportation and municipal infrastructure in Michigan
Administer, monitor, and maintain the project files in accordance with MDOT, FHWA, and company policies and procedures
Prepare construction reports (i.
e.
progress reports, pay estimate, work orders, contract modifications, contractor evaluations, etc.
)
Perform quality assurance and quality control on Inspector Daily Reports for all technicians
Review material testing reports including density, concrete, aggregate, and HMA for completeness
Attend pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and prepare meeting minutes
Perform contractor certified payroll review for compliance
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Organize and prioritize work to meet multiple tight deadlines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma
Thorough knowledge of construction (technology, equipment, methods), procedures, and standards
MDOT Office Technician Certification
Previous Office Technician experience required
Ability to demonstrate complete competence as Construction Services Office Technician and/or advanced education and experience
