*Job Description:*
The Mechanical Engineer produces 3D CAD Models and detailed 2D Drawings to manufacture Bay Cast Technologies’ products.
The Project Engineer will provide technical support and oversight to Sales, Production, and Field personnel in the fulfillment of orders for our customers.
The Engineer works with the sales team to customize designs to meet customer specific requirements.
After receipt of an order, the Engineer also works with the manufacturing team to document, through detailed drawings and process instructions, job specific requirements.
The Project Engineer is expected to be fluent in the use of SolidWorks with the ability to manage and exchange steps files.

*Responsibilities**:*
* Partner with sales and the end customer to provide designs, models, and drawings that meet customer specific requirements.
* Create 3D Models and 2D Drawings for production team utilizing SolidWorks.
* Support production by providing fixture and work holding designs
* Work with production to provide technical support during manufacturing.
* Work with vendors to ensure understanding of technical requirements.
* You will spend about 50% of the time behind the computer and 50% out on the manufacturing floor.
* Work with Facility Engineering, as required, to support internal engineering projects.
*Experience/Qualifications**:*
· Bachelor’s Mechanical Engineering, BSME
· Fluent with commercial CAD packages; SolidWorks preferable
· Excellent Analytical and researching skills
· The ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawing, and sketches.
· Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
· Strong communications skills; both written and verbal.
· Proficient in the use of Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, ect.
