*Shift Manager*
Popeyes Aby Groups is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the shift consisting of directing employees, scheduling, assigning work, maintaining records of hours worked, etc.
* Responsible for training and developing employees as well as providing continuous training to current and new employees.
* Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
* Assist in the development of an appropriate safety program in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
* Provide management information to keep the production line safe and efficient.
* Responsible for record keeping, attendance, sick time, holidays, and vacation time.
* Completes daily inventory of all equipment and supplies.
Competencies:
* Ability to work with a team of employees in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate with a team in a clear concise manner.
* Ability to maintain an organized and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Knowledge of Shift Operations
* Ability to track time cards for all employees including overtime time.
Physical Demands: The physical demands for this position are face lift, bending, lifting up to 20 pounds, standing, working at heights, and working inside or outside during inclement weather.
These physical requirements may be accomplished with a small portion of the hours that the position is occupied.
The physical abilities required for this position may be evaluated by using Verbal Ability Scale or any other physical ability scale approved by Popeyes Aby Groups.
