TITLE: Global Corporate Communications Specialist DUTIES: Nexteer Automotive Corporation seeks a Global Corporate Communications Specialist in Saginaw, Michigan.
This position does not require travel.
Support Nexteer’s corporate communication programs, creating high quality, compelling communications at all levels of the company (both day-to-day communications and ongoing campaigns that inform, inspire, and engage stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies).
Support message planning, presentation development, logistics and execution of executive communication forums which may include annual global leadership conference, business leadership meetings, global leadership update calls, town hall meetings, executive offsites, executive alignment meetings, etc.
Enhance consistency of messaging and culture with “One-Nexteer voice” throughout Nexteer regions and geographies, leveraging knowledge of regional cultures to reach and connect through effective global messaging.
Promote employee advocacy for the Nexteer brand across all regions and demographics.
Develop and implement written and visual content for a variety of channels (email, presentations, live events, videos, intranet and other digital media, creative marketing materials, etc.
).
Build company culture through internal branding: Manage all internal artwork, graphic design and video production.
Design, procure, and distribute Nexteer-branded items; Counsel internal clients on effective branding for events, new applications, and processes.
Develop and manage corporate events for a variety of company functions, such as annual global leadership conference, Culture Week, Quality Week, and Site Openings.
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal clients to effectively develop and deploy strategic campaigns.
Collaborate with both global corporate communications team and external marketing communications team to identify and disseminate best practices and ensure continuity of messaging across internal and external channels globally.
Track effectiveness of communication campaigns and manage feedback channels, using associated information to make recommendations to improve strategies.
Support North America (largest concentration of employees for organization) communications including coordinating/obtaining Spanish/English translations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations, or related field of study and 6 years of experience in the job offered or related.
Experience must include: years of experience in writing, communications, project and change management; experience in crisis communications (messaging and channel best practices, legal regulations & compliance); experience with internal communication processes, including experience in situational analysis, stakeholder identification and analysis, goals and objectives definition, team messaging and tactics, and data management; experience in corporate event planning and management from conception to design, coordination and execution including vendor negotiation and management; experience fostering robust relationships in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality work in a timely and customer-focused manner across both corporate and manufacturing environments; experience with Microsoft Office O365 Suite (with experience in SharePoint/Web Design).
Experience with written and verbal communication skills including editing, proofreading and design; experience working across both technical and non-technical collaborators at all levels of the organization; experience problem solving, thinking, planning, and executing multiple projects autonomously and in an organized fashion, balancing the long-term and urgent needs of the team; experience working with HR policies and practices including experience assessing the development needs of the regions in terms of leadership, culture, and communications; experience working with organized labor parties with ability to bridge communications across organized and non-organized employee groups; graphic design experience including use of Mac OSx, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud Software (such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects); experience with photography and video/animation production, and HTML Coding.
