Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team who specializes in decks, window replacement, doors, flooring, and interior trim.
As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing various structures and fixtures according to specifications.
Your expertise in woodworking and carpentry will be crucial in ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: 1.
Construct, install, and repair decks, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards.
2.
Replace windows and doors, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials to precise specifications.
3.
Install various types of flooring such as hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl, ensuring a seamless and durable finish.
4.
Perform interior trim work including baseboards, crown molding, and door casings, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of interior spaces.
5.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine project requirements and layouts.
6.
Select and procure appropriate materials for each project, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
7.
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
8.
Collaborate with other construction professionals such as contractors and architects to ensure project success.
9.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
10.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing excellent customer service throughout the project.
Requirements: 1.
Proven experience as a Carpenter, specializing in decks, window replacement, doors, flooring, and interior trim.
2.
Proficiency in woodworking techniques, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
3.
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
4.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
5.
Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
6.
Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
7.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
8.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
