Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

– Ubly *Job Requirements* - Associates Degree in related field and/or 5 years maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry - Supervisory experience - Strong problem solving, communication and team building skills - Advanced computer and organization skills - Ability to read electrical schematics - Hydraulics systems and machine control experience *Job Preferences* Maintenance Training Program Certification Advanced organization skills Blow Molding and/or plastic industry experience *Job Summary* Provide leadership to all maintenance personnel, coordinate and plan all maintenance activities.
Monitor and review equipment performance to achieve meeting company goals.
Assist in maintenance activities as required.
*Essential Job Functions * - Promotes safety awareness, educates, and enforces all safety rules throughout the plant with the goal set at zero plant related injuries.
- Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs on plant equipment; and develop instructions for use.
Identify and perform necessary repairs on all equipment.
- Coordinate equipment safety measures and procedures for all equipment; and perform required safety checks to maintain and ensure that safety related items are functioning properly.
- Recommend any equipment replacement as needed.
- Maintain a reasonable stock of replacement parts.
- Provide daily maintenance work schedule, and oversee work being performed by the maintenance workers and assist as necessary.
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times following 6S practices.
- Work on Continuous Improvement activities as assigned.
- Coordinate training for the department personnel to effectively accomplish maintenance activities.
- Develop TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program for all required equipment.
- Follow all QMS and EMS policies and procedures.
- Any and all other duties as assigned for the safe and effective operation of the business.
