*Packaging Lead – Cannabis Company*
Pincanna is a vertically integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan and a cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan.

The Packaging Lead will manage all packaging, labeling, and visual inspection activities so that Pincanna meets high quality objectives and department goals.
Ensure workflow optimization and implement processes for packaging, labeling, and inspection of all products.
Packaging Lead reports to Director of Processing.

* Responsible for maintaining packaging quality in accordance with company process and quality standards.
* Assist with organization of finished goods within the processor vault.
* Work collaboratively to create compliancy labels for finished goods.
* Coordinate daily departmental activities.
* Empower and lead the team to complete the day-to-day activities efficiently meeting company KPI’s.
* Must manage shifting priorities in an active production packaging setting.
* Create an environment that encourages the packaging employees to raise efficiency ideas and the implement appropriately.
* Monitor inbound production inventory to control workflow of product to the packaging department.
* Drive employee enablement and ensure proper training is provided to guarantee certified, competent staff to accomplish the required task.
* Organizing and securing of all finished goods, packaging tags and labels.
* Maintain high standards for safety, security, and quality practices in the work environment.
* Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and best industry practice.
* Works collaboratively, to ensure proper prime material inventory is adequate for the workload.
*Qualifications and Requirements:*
* ServSafe certification required
* This position is expected to perform duties at a highly productive and efficient pace, consistently
* Energetic, self-motivated, organized individual who is accustomed to working in a deadline-focused, high-pressure active environment.
* Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
* Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, and warehouse environment.
This position is part of a fast-paced environment
* Working in proper PPE at all times of scheduled shift to sustain GMP model certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.
75 per hour
