Extrusion Lead Operator

Our work environment includes: * Growth opportunities * Casual work attire * Relaxed atmosphere * On-the-job training * Safe work environment * Clean facility * Friendly co-workers Duties: - Operate and monitor extrusion equipment to produce high-quality products - Set up and adjust machine settings according to specifications - Feed materials into the machine and ensure proper handling - Assemble and disassemble machine components as needed - Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product quality - Perform basic math calculations to measure and cut materials accurately - Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency - Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments - Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks - Maintain a clean and organized work area Skills: - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively - Knowledge of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations - Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Good communication skills to work effectively with team members Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
