Shear and Brake Operator

is seeking a Shear/Brake and Saw Operator/Production Worker.
*Position Summary: *This position is responsible for daily operations of Mechanical and Hydraulic shears and saws in a fabrication shop.
*Responsibilities:* * Read blue print and work order instructions to correctly produce parts * Knowledge of metal working/cutting and bending sheet metal * Knowledge of using plasma cutter and grinder steel * Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations * Accurately account for time and work completed *Qualifications:* * Must be able to read a calculate fractions and decimals * Produce part accurately to print * Must have strong metal saw/shear and fabrication background * Ability to read blue prints * Good verbal and written communication skills * At least 2 years fabricating experience *Physical Requirements: * * Must be able to lift, carry, and or pull up to 50 lbs * Work in a fast paced industrial environment * Standing for long periods of time on concrete * Wearing all safety gear required as well as steel toe boots Compensation to be discussed Please apply by sending resume, and 3 references Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.
