Tool and Die Inspector

*TOOL AND DIE INSPECTOR:* *About us:* Northern Precision is a family owned business since 1979.

*Education:* High School Diploma required.
*Experience:* Prior experience in the manufacturing industry required, using measuring gages (micrometer, bore gage, depth mic, and indicating micrometers).
*Description:* Challenging position, working directly with tooling production.

This is an in person full time position, working 10 hour shifts 5 days per week (6:00AM to 4:30PM).
*In this role you will perform the following:* • Interpret customer prints • Take measurements of parts using gages to ensure that they are meeting customer requirements • Operate and program two CMM measuring machines • Perform all final inspections on customer parts before they are shipped • Understand the workflow and ensure tooling is delivered to the proper work area • Work with other employees at different levels in the organization to meet deadlines • Follow company policies and procedures *Requirements:* • Must be highly motivated • Work well in a team environment • An ability to follow verbal instructions, and carry out those instructions with minimal supervision • Have organizational skills that will promote a clean and efficient work area *Compensation:* • $16-$20 depending on prior experience (will have 6 month review) • The average work week is 50 hours • 10 paid holidays • Bonus pay • Competitive stipend if not utilizing health insurance benefits *Benefits:* • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Health insurance • Health Savings Account • Retirement plan If you are a skilled Tool and Die Maker looking for a challenging opportunity with a reputable company, we want to hear from you.
