Active Feed is now hiring Feed Mill Operator and Production Worker.
The feed mill operator and production worker position are responsible for the mixing, delivering, and storing of feed for cattle, hogs, and poultry.
Responsibilities include:
· Maintains accurate and detailed production records.
· Drive and operate a fork truck.
· Ability to familiarize self with feed ingredients and feed medications.
· Keeps attention to detail with ingredients and equipment.
· Perform testing and screening of samples.
· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
· Self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently.
· Maintain general housekeeping of facilities with proper equipment.
· Load and unload trucks.
· Ability to move semi-tractor-trailer throughout property.
· Adhere to company safety practices.
· Ability to climb ladders with excessive heights.
· Possesses a valid driver’s license.
· Must be able to pass a drug test.
