Active Feed is now hiring a Customer Support Specialist.
The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for the following; communicating with customers and recording information for feed deliveries, analyzing and developing delivery schedules and routes, and implementing the HACCP compliance program.
*Job Description *
*Responsibilities include:*
· Initiates and responds to customer inquiries related to various products and services.
· Gathers and analyzes current and historical data from customer records to respond to service requests and inquiries.
· Communicates with customer effectively and accurately.
· Receives, verifies, adjusts, confirms and enters customer order.
· Analyzes and schedules customer deliveries based on order requests, historical data and logistics.
· Follows up with management to assure timely resolution of complaints, inquiries and requests.
· Works with Production Team and Operations Manager to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to meet customer needs.
· Develops product order schedule, and completes weekly.
· Works closely with accounting department to ensure accurate customer pricing is developed and maintained, and resolve any inquiries or concerns.
· Completes daily, monthly, and annual inventory counts to ensure accuracy, and to maintain compliance with State and Federal regulations.
· Maintains confidentiality of the organization’s customers and data.
· Updates and maintains the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program.
· Participates in and/or leads HACCP audits.
· Assists other office team members in administrative tasks.
*Key Skills and Abilities include:*
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· High school diploma or two years of agricultural customer service experience.
· Proficiency with computers, utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications, and specialized software.
Training will be provided on specialized software.
· Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical concepts such as percentages, fractions, and ratios.
· Capability to sit at a desk and perform typing movements for extended periods of time, as well as mobility to move indoors and outdoors.
· Strong communication skills; to include verbal and written forms of communication.
· Ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with customers, support resources, colleagues, and management.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
