Plasma Table Operator A growing, heavy fabrication shop in Saginaw is looking to add a skilled plasma table operator to its team.
The position is full-time, with over-time potential as the workload demands.
Second and third shift positions will come with a shift premium.
Pay is competitive and based on experience and capabilities.
Pay: $18+/hr based on XP *Minimum Qualifications:* * No degree necessary * Must be able to lift 50 pounds * Knowledge of basic hand tools *Preferred:* · Three years of HyDef plasma table operation experience desired *Responsibilities:* * Program and burn per schedule and project specifications * Load and unload material from trucks * Set-up and operation of bandsaws within required tolerances * Kit jobs after cut for plasma table * Ability to read blueprints * Verify part measurements to project specifications * Document machining for projects in tracking system as necessary * Record production in ERP system * Maintain safe work environment by following safety processes and procedures * Maintain 6S and housekeeping standards within work area * Inspect and ensure equipment functionality and safety before use PPE supplied by the company including steel-toed boots, gloves, etc.
