A Field Service Technician of Premium Farm Solutions provides service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
This role has tremendous opportunities for growth as well as experience in many different skilled trades.
*Job Duties include:*
* Daily in-field service work, travelling to customer sites.
* Build relationships and trust with customers and clients.
* Respond to and execute service calls with a positive attitude.
* Operate vehicles and drive in a safe manner.
* Adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.
* All other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* Ability to work with minimal supervision while using your own technical judgment regarding complex tasks.
* Firm technical knowledge of blueprints, diagrams, mechanical engineering schematics and electrical diagrams.
* Troubleshooting skills, able to diagnose root issues with equipment disfunction and/or failures.
* Excellent communication skills to explain technical problems to customers and service manager.
* Experience or willingness to learn in a skilled trade like: Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, welding, or fabrication.
* Experience with PLC programming or robotics a plus.
