SUMMARY
GP-12 Technician will inspect products and assist Engineers and Quality Engineers in the completion of their responsibilities with the Paint Line.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support production of quality parts in terms of dimensional and appearance-related standards
Approve 1st parts in responsible areas
Perform regular audits of dimensional measurements per schedule
Quarantine suspect material/parts as necessary
Sort suspect material/parts as necessary
Audit part quality for appearance compliance per schedule
Review and audit scrap for quantity accuracy and accuracy of classification
Submit end-of-shift report according to direction
Visit customers as directed
Identify inefficiencies (scrap, rework, throughput, labor) within assigned programs to determine root cause, identify a solution and implement the solution
Responsible for other duties or special projects as assigned
