Responsibilities
Directly lead team of 10-45 Technicians (depending on the shift and business needs) to ensure production teams goals are met.
Directing, guiding and coaching individuals and teams to clarify purpose, roles, boundaries, and
performance outcomes.
Ensuring that an effective Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality culture is established, implementing processes and procedures to get the necessary resources in place to meet production requirements.
Conducting performance management processes including goal setting, employee reviews, and communicating compensation information to drive shift and department performance.
Build teamwork, embrace individuality for employees, and actively develop all team member’s skills
Directly communicate with team members to creatively resolve individual employee’s issues in a fair and equitable manner.
Ensure Technicians work safely and in compliance with all regulations, quality systems, policies and procedures.
Acts as a technical resource to Technicians to operate and adjust equipment, and to solve quality and production issues.
Perform shift leadership role for Emergency Response.
Ensure changes to work processes are effectively implemented (Management of Change).
Interface with computer systems to enter and retrieve data and analyze basic operational information.
Effectively communicate with employees to support company needs and to help others make good decisions.
Lead by example and promote technician behaviors that follow XALT Energy core values.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing (3-5 years)
Associates or Bachelors degrees preferred
Must have a high school diploma
Able to use computer based systems and interface with HMIs (Human-Machine Interface)
Able to work in a clean room & low humidity environment
Previous experience in collaborative work environments
Able to work shifts other than day shift
