Tradesman Maintenance - Electrician Pincanna is a vertically integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Pincanna has a 135,000 square foot cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan, a retail location in Kalkaska, and planned retail locations throughout Michigan.
The Tradesman Maintenance - Electrician will help maintain the interior and exterior of the facility and all equipment required for production.
This will be achieved through ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
Under limited supervision, oversee and conduct skilled electrical and repair work in the installation, alteration and maintenance of electrical systems, fixtures and equipment in accordance with established safety standards and fire codes Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties and responsibilities- Please note this job description is not designated to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
Duties, responsibilities, schedules, and activities may change at any time with or without notice to fit the company's needs): Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and operating principles.
Navigate current NEC codes and apply as necessary.
Work with 120/240v, 120/208v, 277/480v power supplies.
Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.
Ability to install, repair or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switches, boxes, conduits, feeders, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts.
Performs a variety of electrical work such as installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of complex electrical equipment (such as automatic controls, generators, switchboards, transfer switches, lighting systems) Analyzes and troubleshoots electrical problems with equipment, replaces defective parts, reassembles affected equipment and tests for proper operation and safety.
Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled or required on electrical equipment as recommended.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
Ensures all work meets prescribed standards of quality and ensures compliance with all laws, safety procedures, policies, and codes.
Monitors performance of equipment and informs management of any potential problems.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement, cost savings, productivity/efficiency improvements and safety improvements.
Maintains necessary work records including equipment records, logs, etc.
Assists other maintenance personnel on projects as directed.
Navigate remote access systems to troubleshoot issues.
General Facility Work - Performing any other facility related tasks as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Manager.
Placement in rotational 24 hour on call schedule.
Qualifications and Requirements: 3+ years of experience in maintenance mainly in the Electrical trade.
Commercial greenhouse cultivation maintenance experience.
Demonstrated understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
Understanding of general maintenance methods and processes.
State licensed electrician preferred.
Knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings and designs, building management systems, HVAC, building codes, fire/life safety detection and suppression systems, environmental management best practices and procedures applicable to facility management, renovations, and construction projects.
Full installation of equipment and any electrical needs.
To be able to develop any and all material lists for procurement.
