Paralegal and Discovery Coordinator

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly innovative Paralegal to join our plaintiff’s side litigation team.
As a Paralegal, you will provide essential litigation support to our lead attorney and assist in various legal tasks associated with new and pending cases.
Candidate must have strong legal knowledge (especially in discovery) and exceptional organizational skills.
This position’s primary responsibility will focus on civil discovery and research matters for active and potential cases.
This is not a legal secretary position.
Responsibilities: - Conduct document review and analysis for legal cases - Assist in project management, including coordinating deadlines and timelines - Conduct legal research using resources such as LexisNexis.
- Prepare legal documents, with particular emphasis on discovery.
- Organize and maintain client files and documents - Assist in proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Assist the primary attorney in trial preparation Requirements: - Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role - Strong knowledge of civil procedures and discovery practices - Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient computer skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
